TASK:
You are to hand in the following information, regarding the web topic you received in class. Be sure to research your topic prior to developing the following information:
- Laundry List of all items to include on the website (please type of this list)
It does not need to be in any sort of order, just an overall list of the areas and topics you could include on the website. - Complete Site Map identifying your Main Menu, along with all of the pages that would be under the main menu. (Such as the Chamber site map I showed in class) [Home] [Menu] [About Us] etc.
- Note: You can create this using Word (outline form) Excel, or another program of your choice
- 10 Images that could be used on the website – These images should be supporting images that if you were asked to design the site – they could/would be used.
- Marketing Statement – A detailed analysis about who is your target market for your website? And how the defined target adjusted the way you developed the site map
- Design Brief for the website – A detail summary on how would you approach designing the website. Would you make it look old or rustic? Fun? Conservative? Modern looking? In addition, what colors would you use, etc.

They seek your help in developing a website that will assist them in fundraising efforts and over all community awareness. - Local Parks and Recreation Association

They are seeking your help in developing a website that will provide the community information about the Parks and Rec Association, along with providing details on the various services & events they have to offer the community. - Local Muscial Group
A local muscial group is on the rise. They have a unique sound of Jazz and Funk and have gained a following. Recently they had just signed a record deal, and feel that they need to start getting their name out more by using web as their main means. They are not only interested in a brand new website, but how it also ties into their social media sites as well. They have come to you seeking help. They want a site that reflects them, talks about their upcoming information, as well as a means to release videos and music files. They are open to other ideas as well, but really don’t have an idea on where to go and what should be on the site.
